LIFT solid - Mechanical and electric
-
The LIFT solid is a real workhorse. The continuously adjustable seat height makes it highly flexible in use in a wide range of professions, and lets you use conventional furniture and kitchen fittings. As an employee and wheelchair user, you can be assigned to various workstations, machines and devices. The seat height adjustment raises the seat smoothly by up to 30 cm. In this position, the wheelchair user is eye to eye with a person standing about 1.75 m tall.
The LIFT solid is sturdy and proves its worth in tougher environments, too. The Heavy Duty equipment enables heavier loads, making it possible to carry up to 140 kg.
The tipping point can be adjusted retroactively to respond to any changing user needs. The front seat height or seat angle can be changed by using different caster fork and caster wheels.
LIFT solid mechanical: The seat height can be adjusted continuously with little effort thanks to the gas pressure springs.
LIFT solid electric: For persons with impaired arm or finger function, the same LIFT solid design is also available with an electric lift feature.

LIFT solid with mechanical seat height adjustment
The continuous seat height adjustment is achieved with gas pressure springs. Press the movement lever upwards to activate the seat height adjustment. The seat can then be raised with little effort by up to 30 cm.
An electric seat height adjustment can also be retrofitted at a later point in time.
LIFT solid with electric seat height adjustment
For persons with impaired arm or finger function, the LIFT solid is also available with an electric lift feature. The user reaches the desired work height and new action areas at the push of a button.
The mechanical LIFT solid can also be retrofitted with an electric seat height adjustment. If the disability advances, it can be altered repeatedly at low costs.

Sturdy frame for maximum mobility and compatibility
The standard frame version is rated for loads of up to 120 kg. With the Heavy Duty equipment, the LIFT solid is also ideal for heavier loads of up to 140 kg. Overall, the LIFT solid is suitable for a tougher environment with its sturdy and low-maintenance construction.
Compatibility with wheelchair drives like e-fix, e-motion or Twion, for example, can also be provided upon request.
Simple transport
Easy to transport in a car boot by simply taking the wheelchair apart into its modules and folding down the backrest; no tools are necessary.

Use as a standing-up aid
People whose conditions leave them some movement in their legs (such as multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, partial paraplegia or partial paralysis with some movement in the legs, spina bifida, prosthesis wearers or neurological diseases leaving some movement in the legs), can also use the LIFT solid to help themselves stand up.
For this purpose, the user must first rise up a few centimetres until the supporting force increases perceptibly. The user then slides forward on the seat and is lifted up until their legs are almost straight. The user then supports themselves into a standing position.
For this use, it makes sense to select the ‘Divided footrest with swivel frame stem’ or another footrest that can be folded or swivelled away.
Option: Divided footrest with swivel and removable frame stem
The ‘Divided footrest’ can also be swivelled out and removed, so that the frame ends at the front end of the fabric and leaves a lot of space for transfer.

Use as a lightweight electric wheelchair
When combined with the e-fix drive made by Alber GmbH, the LIFT solid electric is another lightweight alternative to an electric wheelchair, including a seat height adjustment at the push of a button. The e-fix drive can be programmed individually and therefore adapts perfectly to the personal requirements. The wheelchair is steered by a joystick. This lets users travel even long distances and steep climbs effortlessly.
Various back systems
The backrest can be folded and adjusted at seven different angles (without tools), offering flexible seat positions. This backrest is available as a lightweight adaptable back with back padding (belt system for optimal adjustment of slack and padded lumbar support) or as a sturdy back shell (very sturdy with fixed slack and adjustable lumbar support).
The ERGO Back backrest bar is also available as an option in addition to the adjustable back and the back shell. This backrest bar relieves the strain on your back by allowing you to lean back, and adds an attractive visual touch. The recessed gripping areas mean that you do not need any push handles, and also prevent unwelcome pushing by others.

Range of seat systems
A range of seat systems are available for the LIFT solid. The ‘open belt system’ seat cover lets users adjust the pressure distribution using belts. The ‘body contour’ seat cover provides a cushioning effect, absorbing impacts and helping prevent pressure ulcers. It is highly breathable and sturdy (the material is double-stitched to counteract the ‘hammock’ effect). You can also select seat plates as a sturdy seat system with no slack.
Wide range of optional extras and accessories
Each LIFT solid is a customised model, with frame dimensions and equipment that are always tailored to the wheelchair user’s needs. You can choose from a wide range of equipment for the LIFT solid, including footrests, brakes, push handles, back and seat systems, clothing guards, armrests, as well as drive and caster wheels.
