HUSK-E adaptive bike
-
The HUSK-E adaptive bike combines flexibility, performance and comfort in a compact design. It is equipped with a 20'' wheel and can be operated on public roads in Germany without insurance or registration under the pedelec regulations. When cranking, the drive system provides support at the set assistance level up to 25 km/h. This means that even longer distances can be covered more easily and quickly.
The HUSK-E revolutionizes the transport of handbikes: With the foldable bottom bracket support, the adaptive bike can be quickly and easily reduced in size, making it ideal for transport.
The HUSK-E adaptive bike is available in three model variants:
The HUSK-E Shimano is the powerful version with 85 Nm torque. This variant is designed for uneven terrain as well as hilly and mountainous topography.
The HUSK-E Neodrives is the power-saving version with an immediate response for riders with limited strength. With 40 Nm of torque, the adaptive bike is ideal for tours on flat to slightly hilly terrain (without long, steep climbs).
The HUSK-E mechanical offers a sporty and active riding experience - without a motor, but with full participation in movement, community and nature.

HUSK-E Shimano version
- designed for uneven terrain, hills, mountainous topography, long climbs and demanding routes
- for users with muscle power who want to extend their range of action and also be active for their health
- derailleur and hub gears possible
- disc brake with brake lever or coaster brake possible
With 85 Nm torque, the Shimano drive system offers very powerful support. It is suitable for riders who already have the appropriate power level to be able to operate the cranks so powerfully from a standing start that the response of the motor system is there right from the start. The HUSK-E Shimano is the right choice for hills, mountainous terrain, long climbs and uneven terrain. Battery variants up to 630 Wh offer long ranges of up to 85 km. A speed of up to 4 km/h can be achieved without cranking using the start-up support.
The HUSK-E Shimano can be equipped with derailleur gears or electronic hub gears. The switching process can be carried out with Rapid Fire levers on the handle, with buttons on the chin control or via automatic switching.
Braking can take place via a hydraulic disc brake system or a mechanical coaster brake with crank-free function.
Version HUSK-E Neodrives
- designed for flat to hilly terrain without long steep climbs
- for users with little muscle power and for all those who need a drive with high power assistance
- derailleur gears possible
- disc brake with brake lever or coaster brake possible
This HUSK-E version with its 40 Nm torque is designed for tours on flat to hilly terrain (without long steep climbs). The immediate response when starting off and the even support offer a great advantage for riders with limited strength. A speed of up to 6 km/h can be achieved without cranking using the start-up assistance. The Neodrives hub motor enables completely silent and vibration-free operation. The battery offers a range of up to 75 km.
Electronic derailleur gears with button or chin control operation or mechanical derailleur gears with Rapid Fire operation are possible.
Braking can take place via a hydraulic disc brake system or a mechanical coaster brake with crank-free function.

HUSK-E mechanical version
- for active biking on any terrain
- for riders who do not require electric assistance and are physically fit enough
- derailleur gears possible
- disc brake with brake lever or coaster brake possible
- simple retrofitting of a Neodrives drive possible
The mechanical HUSK-E version is an impressive manual bike with an ergonomic design that provides optimum support for long rides. Ideal for anyone who wants to ride actively and improve their endurance.
Electronic derailleur gears with button or chin control operation or mechanical derailleur gears with Rapid Fire operation are available.
Braking can take place via a hydraulic disc brake system or a mechanical coaster brake with crank-free function.
Mechanical coaster brake
The HUSK-E adaptive bike is optionally available with a mechanical coaster brake, which is easy to operate. This option also gives the rider the option of freewheeling to the rear. The cranks can be decoupled and the bike can be easily reversed using the handrims - ideal for maneuvering in tight spaces.

Easy handling when coupling and uncoupling thanks to the parking stand
The parking stand makes coupling and uncoupling easier, as the bike is parked at the required adaptation height. The parking stand also allows the bike to be parked safely when uncoupled. The parking stand can be folded onto the product in one easy step while riding to save space.
Stable adaptation
Adaptation takes place via a central adapter or front adapter, which can be connected and disconnected in a few simple steps. When uncoupled, hardly any additional weight remains on the wheelchair and the wheelchair does not experience any functional restrictions (e.g. folding mechanism). The adapter can be used for all PRO ACTIV adaptive bikes, traction and attachment devices with the same wheel size: ONE adapter for MANY combinations.

Ideal for transport
The bottom bracket support can be folded down without tools using quick-release levers and locking bolts, resulting in a small pack size for transport.
The chain is guided in the bottom bracket support. This keeps the chain ‘tidy’ and prevents it from being damaged or soiling the car or other objects.
An optional pannier holder system is available for the HUSK-E adaptive bike. The panniers can be attached and removed in seconds without tools, making them particularly flexible to use.
Optimum adaptation to the rider's requirements
Different grip widths and crank lengths allow the HUSK-E adaptive bike to be perfectly customised to the user for a comfortable ride and optimum control. The angle of the bottom bracket support can be changed without tools using the quick-release lever (in two locking positions). The length of the bottom bracket support can be subsequently adjusted to adapt to changes in the rider's requirements. The adapter can also be adjusted in angle, height and length.

Long range thanks to large battery capacity & double battery holder
With ranges of up to 85 km and the option of a double battery holder to double the range, even long tours are no problem. With the changeover device, it is easy to switch between the two batteries using magnetic plugs. This is also possible without the full finger function.
