LIFT activ – mechanical

  • The LIFT activ is equipped with a manual seat height adjustment option, which is easily adjusted using a handle. With only a little muscle power, the seat is lifted upwards by up to 30 cm. In this position, the wheelchair user is eye to eye with a person standing about 1.75 m tall.

This adjustable seat height makes it highly flexible in use in a wide range of professions, and lets you use conventional furniture and kitchen facilities. As an employee and wheelchair user, you can be assigned flexibly to various workstations, machines and attachments. With the seat height adjustment, you can easily operate printers and copiers. Wall units and top shelves in the office or at home are accessible. Conversion measures are often no longer necessary.

The tipping point can be adjusted retroactively to respond to any changing user needs.

LIFT activ gets you to the right level – in your job, everyday life and leisure

Thanks to its low weight (in comparison to the LIFT solid), the LIFT activ is ideal for transport and for using the wheelchair at work, in everyday life and leisure activities. Reaching the files on the top shelf at the office in the morning, putting the dishes in the wall cupboard above the worktop in the kitchen at home at lunchtime, and having a conversation with family and friends at eye level at the bar in the evening – that’s no problem with the LIFT activ.

The LIFT activ is also the ideal companion for professionals who frequently change their place of work during the course of the day; for example, an architect who travels between the office and various construction sites.

LIFT activ with manual seat height adjustment

The LIFT activ is equipped with a manual seat height adjustment option, which is easily adjusted using a handle. The continuous seat height adjustment is achieved with gas pressure springs. With only a little muscle power, the seat is lifted upwards by up to 30cm.

Light and active despite lifting mechanism

The frame and lifting mechanism have been developed so that the LIFT activ weighs from 14.5 kg and has an attractive and dynamic design.

Simple transport

Easy to transport in a car boot by simply taking the wheelchair apart into its modules; no tools are necessary.

Use as a standing-up aid

People whose conditions leave them some movement in their legs (such as multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, partial paraplegia or partial paralysis with some movement in the legs, spina bifida, prosthesis wearers or neurological diseases leaving some movement in the legs), can also use the LIFT activ to help themselves stand up.

For this use, it makes sense to select the ‘Divided footrest with swivel frame stem’ or another footrest that can be folded or swivelled away.

Option: Removable frame stem, swivelling with split footrest

The frame stem can also be swivelled out and removed, so that the frame ends at the front end of the fabric and leaves a lot of space for transfer.

Various back systems

The backrest can be folded and adjusted at seven different angles (without tools), offering flexible seat positions. As a further equipment option, the Ergofix backrest offers a fixed lumbar support. The backrest can be folded down at the lordosis joint and offers flexibility for lumbar support.

The ERGO Back backrest bar is also available as an option in addition to the adjustable back and the back shell. This backrest bar relieves the strain on your back by allowing you to lean back, and adds an attractive visual touch. The recessed gripping areas mean that you do not need any push handles, and also prevent unwelcome pushing by others.

Range of seat systems

A range of seat systems are available for the LIFT activ. The ‘open belt system’ seat cover lets users adjust the pressure distribution using belts. The ‘body contour’ seat cover provides a cushioning effect, absorbing impacts and helping prevent pressure ulcers. It is highly breathable and sturdy (the material is double-stitched to counteract the ‘hammock’ effect).

Wide range of optional extras and accessories

Each LIFT activ is a customised model, with frame dimensions and equipment that are always tailored to the wheelchair user’s needs. You can choose from a wide range of equipment for the LIFT activ, including footrests, brakes, push handles, back and seat systems, as well as drive and caster wheels.
